Season 5 - Episode 1 (Q4 2022) - It’s a night of 1,000 stock-lebrities with Pam Chernoff and Jen Francis on the red carpet at the 30th annual NASPP Conference. It’s been three years since the last in-person conference, and everybody is dressed up and ready to mingle. There are too many special guests to mention, and some surprises along the way.


Season 4 - Episode 2 (Q2 2020) - John Hammond hosts a special virtual episode with our special guests; Seth Bohart, Landy Tam, and Robyn Shutak, from Computershare Employee Plan Services. Though the discussion centers on the impact of Covid-19 on global plan administration, the discussion ventures into some great personal anecdotes on new age parties and other unexpected turns.


Season 4 - Episode 1 (Q1 2020) - Amanda Benincasa Arena hosts our 2nd annual episode celebrating International Women's Day with our special guests Cherie Curry and Elena Thomas. Great insights into the quest for gender parity in management levels, board levels and equity compensation.

Season 1 - Episode 3 (Q4 2017) - On this episode of Amongst the Shrubbery, Dan Kapinos fills in as host for John Hammond who is trapped in his own zombie world. The show's guest, Mitan Patel of Equatex, discusses global share plans and how PeerTracker and Equatex are working together to assist with the obstacles in today's equity compensation environment. The discussion is interrupted though by a surprise appearance.

Amongst the Shrubbery is an animated talk show by Aon Equity Services, discussing the issues and challenges facing companies and people in today's world of equity compensation, with a not-so-subtle touch of humor. Each quarterly episode features a new guest from the industry discussing a topic that is important to them.


Your Hosts
Jen Francis
Jen Francis is a senior consultant in Aon Equity Services’ communications practice. She specializes in employee education, video creation and print communications in the stock plan and total rewards space. Jen has more than 20 years in equity compensation working in several areas including: consulting, training, product strategy and product management.
Pam Chernoff
Pam Chernoff is a consultant in Aon Equity Services’ communications practice. She has 20 years of experience in equity education, most recently as Curriculum Coordinator for the Certified Equity Professional Institute. Before that, she was a financial journalist. She’s a co-author of The Stock Options Book, one of the textbooks used for the Certified Equity Professional exams.
Zoe Denny-Thomas
Zoe Denny-Thomas is senior consultant, Equity Plans & Equity Communications Practice Leader EMEA. Zoe focuses on helping companies operate plans in the most effective way and ensuring employees understand and value their equity compensation to maximize company investment in employee equity. Zoe joined Aon from ProShare, where she was head of member services. Prior to this Zoe was senior manager at Capita (now Link), leading share plan operations for many FTSE 100 clients operating various plan types in the U.K. and globally. She has more than 12 years’ experience in employee share plans. Zoe is ICSA Cert. ESP qualified and has qualifications in Investor Relations and Reward Management. Zoe is a regular attendee and speaker at share plan industry events & is an elected board member of the Global Equity Organization (GEO).
John Hammond
John Hammond leads Aon Equity Services’ communications practice. His focus is creative and entertaining educational content that helps employees understand the value of their equity compensation. He was the founder and CEO of bendystraw before it was acquired by Aon. John also leads the team's marketing initiatives, including the #1 animated show in equity compensation, Amongst the Shrubbery.
